Sturgis-Deadwood, SD July 30th thru Aug 1, 2005

We arrived in Deadwood, SD on July 30th. What a great western town. There is so much history here. We chose Deadwood because it was fairly central to Keystone and Sturgis. Besides, Deadwood is a gambling town and Tony was looking for some poker action. The Sturgis bike rally starts on August 10th but bikers are already arriving. We have never seen so many motorcycles all in one place. Deadwood and surrounding areas have some great highways that are perfect for motorcycle rides. We rode the bike to Mount Rushmore, Spearfish canyon and Sturgis. We had so much fun in Deadwood that we forgot to take pictures of the town itself. It's too bad because it was the cutest town of all!! Oh well, this probably means that we have to come back.
