Colorado Springs, CO July 25 - July 28, 2005

We visited our friend, Mick, in Colorado Springs. While here we visited Garden of the Gods Park. The rock formations are awesome. We also went to a mining town called Cripple Creek with an elevation of 9494 feet. This town looks like an old western town with storefronts that look authentic. However, when you walk through the doors you are met by modern casinos. It reminded us of old Reno when you could walk from casino to casino. Tony loved this town. He found card rooms and immediately we lost him for several hours. While Tony played poker, Mick and I played slot machines at several casinos. Mick and I hit several jackpots. I won $180 on 4 nickels! When we met Tony later, we found out he lost money. Maybe he can get back at Deadwood, SD!

Laramie, WY July 24, 2005

We are spending the night in Laramie. We are heading for the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO. We are visiting our friend, Mick. Afterwards we are heading North to Sturgis, SD.

DuBois, WY July 22 through July 23rd 2005

We drove through the Grand Teton National Park. We were looking for a place to stay. We found this quaint cowboy town called DuBois. It was such a charming place we stayed for two nights. Tony drove the stagecoach from the stage outpost back to camp. He calls himself an "ole muleskinner" now. He claims he can drive anything.

Yellowstone - July 19th through July 21st 2005

We had a great time in Yellowstone. This national park never ceases to amaze us. We rode the Harley through the entire park. It was a great way to capture all its beauty.
