Buffalo, WY July 24 - 26, 2006

Buffalo is a small Wyoming town nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. Buffalo is a ranching town with many large cattle ranches surrounding it. We took a trip to view Crazy Lady Canyon. There was a 14 mile gravel road which traversed through the canyon. The views were spectacular. Along the way we spotted hundreds of antelop and lots of deer.

Wisconsin Dells, WI July 13, 2006

After Jamaica, we started heading West. We are going back to Oregon to await the arrival of our 3rd grandchild! We headed to Wisconsin to visit the House on the Rock. Located a short drive from the Wisconsin Dells, the house was built on a very large rock. The unique feature in the house is the all glass infinity room. The room extends 218 feet from the rock without any support. The house is like nothing we have every seen before. Rooms were built to follow the shape of the rock. We felt as though we were in a cave in some of the rooms. The Infinity Room sways a little with the room. Very unusual art can be found in every room. Unfortunately, the house is surrounded by trees and we couldn't take good pictures. We had to drive to a lookout point to take a picture of the Infinity Room. We are including a picture of one of many sculptures found around the outside of the house.

Negril, Jamaica July 1 - 8, 2006

We took time off from our road trip and we flew to Jamaica. We met our kids and grandchildren there. It was nice to get together with them since we hadn't seen them in 6 months. Jamaica was a great place to meet.
