We departed at 8 a.m. Our first destination is the Harley shop. They were very accommodating and it didn't take very long at all. We will take highway 20 North and head for Ontario, Oregon. To our surprise 50 miles out of Bend, Tony spots a tire and wheel in his rear view mirror bouncing out into the desert. We quickly realized that it was our tire since we were the only vehicle in site! It took us 2 miles to find a spot to pull over. Sure enough it is our rear RV tire. Now we only have 2 tires on one side and 3 on the other side. Tony starts walking across the desert looking for the tire. No luck. We lightened our load by draining all of our water and we limp back to Bend. Crossing our fingers we would make it. (we called AAA but there wasn't much they could do). We arrived in Bend at 4:45 p.m. Les Schwab was very helpful and replaced the tire and wheel. 6:30 p.m. we were on the road again. We hope this is the end of our problems for a while anyway.
